On 13 and 14 March 2024, the Commander of EUNAVFOR ASPIDES Rear Admiral Vasileios Gryparis visited the Djibouti, where he met the Minister of Foreign Affairs H.E Mr. Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, the Minister of Defense H.E Mr. Hassan Omar Mohamed and the leadership of Public Administration authorities. Present at these meetings was the Ambassador of the European Union to Djibouti, Mrs Sylvie Tabesse.
This visit was an excellent opportunity to exchange views on the regional security environment and identify opportunities for future cooperation.
