On the 20th of November 2025 the Distinguished Visitors’ Day (DV – Day) of the international exercise “TALOS – 25” took place at the National Urban Warfare Training Centre of the Hellenic Army, in Argyroupoli – KILKIS.
“TALOS – 25” was conducted to evaluate the readiness of the HELBROC BG before it takes over its stand by period from 1st January 2026 as the EU Rapid Reaction Force. This exercise was planned by the EL EU OHQ, in Larissa and it was conducted by the HELBROC BG and troops offered by Greece (Framework Nation), Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Cyprus, Romania and Serbia. The 71st Airmobile Brigade, acting as the Force Headquarters (FHQ) of the HELBROC BG, provided the core command structure and essential support throughout all phases of the activity.
The Chief of Staff of the Deputy Minister of National Defense, Mr Evripidis TSAKIRIDIS, the Commander of the Hellenic 1st Army/ EU-OHQ Lieutenant General Stavros PAPASTATHOPOULOS, the Commander of the Hellenic Supreme Military Command of Epirus and Macedonia Lieutenant General Athanasios GARINIS, local authorities and other officials had the opportunity to attend the events of the DV – Day.
