On 06 and 07 December 2023, the EL EU OHQ organized an Orientation Course within the framework of EU BG HELBROC stand-by period of 2023.
The 2 days Orientation Course was attended by 20 military personnel from 5 countries (Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Republic of North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia), who were welcomed in the EL EU OHQ premises in Larissa (Greece) by Major General Konstantinos GAKIS, COS of EL EU OHQ.
The aim of the BG Orientation Course was to enhance the knowledge of the HELBROC BG personnel on issues related to Structure, Preparation, Logistics, CIS, Gender issues and Lessons Learned from preparation and stand-by period, and additionally to deliver a broad understanding of the Common Security and Defence Policy of the EU.
In the EL EU OHQ intentions is to provide the BG Orientation Course in an annual basis in order to improve the EU BG operational readiness and to strengthen the bonds among the countries that participate in EU BG HELBROC (Troop Contributing Nations-TCNs).
