On 20 October 2025, the 10th International Course of the Hellenic National Defence College (HNDC) visited the Hellenic European Union Operations Headquarters (EL EU OHQ) in Larissa.
The delegation, consisting of the Director of Studies, two staff officers and nine students, was welcomed by the Chief of Staff of the Hellenic First Army, Major General Georgios Vasileiadis (HN).
During the visit, the participants were briefed on the mission, structure and operational role of the Headquarters, with particular focus on the European Union Naval Force Operation EUNAVFOR ASPIDES. A short tour of the Joint Operations Centre (JOC) followed, providing an overview of the Headquarters’ operational environment and coordination mechanisms.
The visit formed part of the HNDC International Course academic program.
